Obituary

Edythe Mae (Reynolds) Stuart, 95, passed away February 19, 2020, at The Season’s, Perryton, Texas.

She was born May 1, 1924 in Hugoton to Lee and Etta E. (Brower) Reynolds. She lived most of her lifetime in Hugoton. She loved Hugoton.

She and Joseph A. Stuart were married on March 18, 1943, Elkhart, Kansas. To this union were three daughters, Patty, Peggy, and Penny.

Edythe loved quilting, she made all of her children and grandchildren quilts. She loved flowers and bright colors.

Survivors include daughters, Patty Clinkingbeard, Perryton, TX., Peggy Simmons and husband Charles, Poncha Springs, CO., Penny Cissell and husband George, Simpsonville, SC.; sisters, Viola Quattlebaum, Lamar, CO. and Zola Lynch, Bentonville, AR.; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph A. Stuart, brothers, Glen Reynolds, Ben Reynolds, Harry Reynolds, Art Reynolds, Floyd Reynolds, Donald Reynolds, and Marion Reynolds; twin sister, Ethyle Reese.

A memorial has been established for The Seasons Assisted Living, Perryton, TX. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Funeral Service, Monday, February 24, 2020, Robson Funeral Home- Hugoton, 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Hugoton Cemetery.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
