Ana Lillian Rodriguez, 65, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Garden City, Kansas, with her devoted husband by her side. She was born on July 25, 1961, in Tijuana, Mexico, to Javier Rodriguez Sr. and Florence Mendoza. Ana’s life was a rich tapestry woven with love for her family, an unwavering dedication to those she cherished, and a grace that touched all who knew her.

Raised in Bakersfield, California, Ana embraced every opportunity to nurture her loved ones and build a home filled with warmth and support. In 2003, seeking new work opportunities and to be closer to more family members, Ana and her family relocated to Ulysses. Seven years later, in 2010, the Aguilar family established their home in Garden City, Kansas, where Ana continued to create a loving and welcoming environment.

Ana’s adoration for her husband and her entire family was apparent in every aspect of her life. She is survived by her husband, Francisco Castillo II, of Garden City, Kansas, who was by her side at the time of her passing. Her legacy endures through her children: Junal Rodriguez Aguilar, of Satanta, Kansas, Joel Aguilar and wife Areli, of Los Angeles, California, Junior I. Recenedez, of Garden City, Kansas, Ana Castillo and fiance, Adrian, Garden City, Kansas, and Francisco Castillo Sanchez III, of Garden City, Kansas. Ana's love as a grandmother remains in the hearts of her eleven grandchildren.

Among those mourning her passing are her brother, Javier Rodriguez Jr. of Bakersfield, California, and her adored extended family members and friends. Ana was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Sally Contreras and Gloria Castro, as well as her grandson, Eliseo Ibarra.

Ana’s life was defined by her generous spirit and her passion for caring for her family above all else. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, often expressing her joy through family gatherings and everyday acts of kindness. Ana had a fondness for shopping, taking trips to California to visit extended family, dressing her best for Sundays at church, and pampering herself with visits to the salon. These simple pleasures reflected her belief in presenting herself with dignity and embracing life’s special moments.

A loving mother and grandmother, Ana instilled strong values in her children and grandchildren, setting an enduring example of devotion and support. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.\

A visitation service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

A funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 7, 2026, at Templo Emmanuel Asamblea de Dios, Garden City, Kansas.

Burial will follow the church services at Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, Kansas.
