David Michael Knox

David Michael Knox, 38, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Hugoton, Kansas.

He was born on September 12, 1987, in Liberal, Kansas, to Vincent Emanuel and Elizabeth Joy (Ayers) Knox.

David embraced life with a passion for football, notably his unwavering support of the Kansas City Chiefs. He found joy in watching games with loved ones. He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune every evening with his mom. He loved and enjoyed playing PlayStation with his children.

When David could work, he enjoyed working in Texas in the oil field.

He is survived by his mother, Joy Knox, and his three sons, Jovany, Donavyn, and Jayven Baeza, all of Hugoton; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Knox, San Antonio, Texas; his brother, Harley Brennan Knox, and his wife, Loren; a sister, Amanda Randle, and her husband, Michael. His family included a nephew, Wyatt Randle, and a niece, Hannah Randle; a grandmother, and Donita Graham.

David was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Knox; paternal grandparents, Delbert L. Knox Sr. and Barbara Vasquez Knox; grandfather, Dan Graham; and his cousin, Eric Knox.

Visitation for David will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton, Kansas.

A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, September 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hugoton Cemetery.
