Debra Ann Wyatt

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Debra Ann (Bell) Wyatt, she passed away on July 12, 2026, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Debra was born on January 15, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, to George and Delores Bell. She later moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and eventually made Garden City, Kansas, her longtime home, where she built a life centered on family.

She was a devoted mother to four children, whose lives were shaped by her unwavering love, strength, and support. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Escalante.

She is survived by her husband Marvin, and by her children: Carmela Anderson and her husband, Brian, of Holcomb, Kansas; Debbie Escalante of Garden City, Kansas; Ruben Escalante and his wife, Laura, of Shawnee, Kansas; and James Escalante of Garden City, Kansas. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to her family, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love and memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 2 PM to 6 PM and Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 11 AM to 7 PM. The family will receive family and friends from 2 PM to 4 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Garden City, Kansas.

No funeral services will be held for Debra.

She was a person who will be truly missed, but her legacy of love, compassion, and family will never be forgotten.
