Dennis Lee George, 67, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, Morton County Hospital, Elkhart, Kansas.
He was born to DelLoyd and Marian (Mages) George on July 18, 1953, in Garden City, Kansas.
He married Melba Jean Millemon on September 8, 1978 in Garden City, Kansas.
Dennis was highly active in his relationship with his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed sharing his love of God every chance that he had. Dennis' friendly and outgoing personality lead to many lasting friendships during his time on this earth. Although Dennis will be deeply missed by all those that he came in contact with, we know that he is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus.
He enjoyed his family especially spending time with his grandchildren. His love for gardening and growing vegetables was a joy for him including sharing his garden goods with the community.
Survivors include wife, Melba George, Rolla, KS.; three sons, Lee George and wife Rebecca, Western, NE., Linn George, Uncertain, TX., Charles George, Uncertain, TX.; two daughters, Jana Richardson-Conyac and husband Scott, White Settlement, TX., Hannah Keim and husband, Steve, Garden City, KS.; three brothers, Dan George and wife Lisa, Lakewood, CO., Kurtis George and wife Dee, Lakewood, CO., Kris George, Walsh, CO.; three sisters, Mary Harden, Bucklin, KS., Donna Blanchard and husband Dave, Laredo, TX., Denise George, Denver, CO.; twelve grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Karel George.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021, 10 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Elkhart.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 11 AM, United Methodist Church, Rolla, Kansas. There will be no burial cremation will take place.
In Lieu of flower the family ask for any donations to go to Victorious Christian Harvesters in care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 606, Elkhart, KS 67950.
