Jasinta Sanchez, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Andrews, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 30, 1944, in Ojinaga, Mexico, Jasinta lived a life marked by love, dedication, and hard work.

Jasinta's journey led her from her birthplace in Mexico to the vibrant community of Andrews, Texas, where she established deep roots and formed lasting friendships. She was a woman of great faith, living her life as a testament to Christian values and instilling those principles in her family. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering and provided comfort and guidance throughout her life.

Throughout her career, Jasinta was known for her tireless work ethic. She spent many years as a skilled butcher with Monfort and Tyson, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Her dedication to her profession was evident in the care and precision she brought to her work each day.

Jasinta 's love for her family knew no bounds. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Linda M. Sanchez of Andrews, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeanette Hernandez of Odessa, Texas, Elvis Hernandez and Ever Hernandez of Andrews, Texas; and her great- grandchildren, Ivette and Elvis Hernandez Jr. of Andrews, Texas, Mila Hernandez of Odessa, Texas, and Evan Hernandez of Garden City, Kansas. Her siblings, Manuela Sanchez of Satanta, Kansas, Victor Sanchez of Garden City, Kansas, Lee Sanchez of Garden City, Kansas, Elio Sanchez of South Dakota, Isaias Sanchez of Satanta, Kansas, and Isai Sanchez of Satanta, Kansas, also survive her. Jasinta is reunited in eternal peace with her beloved grandson, Andy A. Hernandez, and her siblings Francisco Sanchez, Telesforo Sanchez, Dario Sanchez, and Luz Sanchez, who preceded her in death.

Beyond her work and family, Jasinta had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. Her garden was a source of pride and joy, showcasing her green thumb and love for the outdoors. She could often be found tending to her flowers and plants, creating a haven of tranquility and beauty. In her leisure time, Jasinta enjoyed the comfort of her favorite television shows, a pastime that brought her relaxation and happiness.

Above all, Jasinta's most treasured moments were those spent surrounded by her family. Her presence at family gatherings was the heart of celebrations, and her laughter and stories will be deeply missed. The legacy she leaves behind is one of compassion, perseverance, and unwavering love-a legacy that will continue to live on in the memories of those she touched.

Visitation services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2025 from 3:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M., at Robson Funeral Home, 620 North Main Street, Garden City, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Robson Funeral Home, Garden City, Kansas.

Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery, in Garden City, Kansas.

Jasinta Sanchez, una querida madre, abuela, bisabuela y hermana, falleció pacíficamente el 7 de febrero de 2026 en Andrews, Texas, rodeada de su amada familia. Nacida el 30 de diciembre de 1944 en Ojinaga, México, Jasinta vivió una vida marcada por el amor, la dedicación y el trabajo arduo.
