Jaxon Wyatt Finn

August 5, 2009 — April 28, 2025

Elkhart, Kansas

Jaxon Wyatt Finn, age 15, left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. Born on August 5, 2009, Jaxon was the beloved son of James Walter and Jacqueline Marie (Chapman) Finn. He was not just a son, but a cherished brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend to many.

Though Jaxon's time with us was much too brief, he filled his years with joy and adventure. He shared countless memories with his family during their trips together, moments they will forever hold dear. His passions were as vibrant as his spirit; he mastered the art of escaping at and early age, had an ardent love for diesel trucks, dirt bikes, and shared a mischievous thrill in running from the law. Those who knew him were touched by his free-spirited nature and the immense love he carried in his heart. For Jaxon, love was grand and enveloping, and those fortunate enough to be in his circle felt its warmth fully.

Jaxon shared an incredible bond with his siblings; whether it was cruising while listening to music or just enjoying special moments despite their playful teasing. His family meant the world to him, and he cherished each connection.

Jaxon is survived by his devoted parents, JW and Jackie Finn; his beloved sister, Kylee Gallegos, and her husband, Matthew; his brother, Jay Finn, and his fiancée, Jamie Sheedy; along with his paternal grandparents, Jim and Diane Finn, and his maternal grandmother, Zona Ottinger. He also leaves a cherished great-grandfather, John Mills; his dear niece, Autumn Gallegos; paternal aunts and uncles, Katie and Levi Evans, Corrina and Leo Carrillo; maternal aunts and uncles, Nichole Chapman, Rocky and Cassie Chapman, Lydia Chapman, and Zandy and Nathan Halcomb, along with a wide circle of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

He reunited in Heaven with his paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Doris Finn, and Jim and Evelyn Ronaghan, as well as his maternal great-grandparents, Carol Mills and Monte Chapman, and his maternal grandfather, David Chapman.

In Jaxon's honor, a memorial has been established for the Midwest Transplant Network, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Jaxon Finn Trade School Scholarship fund under the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 606, Elkhart, Kansas 67950.

We invite those who knew and loved Jaxon to join us for a book signing on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home in Elkhart.
