Jo Ann Blackburn, 68, died Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, Hugoton, KS.
The daughter of Leon & Edna (Conventry) Burrell. She was born October 31, 1946, at Bazine, KS.
She and Johnnie W. Blackburn were married December 11, 1966 at Bazine, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2008.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Hugoton.
She loved her family. She and the family enjoying traveling the United States. She like to do crafts, sewing and gardening.
Survivors include her three daughters, Dianna Hayes, & husband Craig, Longmont, CO, Beverly Blackburn, Boise City, OK, Brenda Yarbough, Hugoton, KS; a sister, Frankie Reims, Hays, KS; a sister in law, LaDonna Perry & husband Wilmer, Hugoton, KS; 13 Grandchildren, Jessika, Brady, Sasha, Josuah, Damon, Cierra, Anassia, Joslynn, Daveron, Azra,
Sheldon Z, Jake and Znia; 2 great grandchildren, Tony & Savannah and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial has been established for Relay for Life. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s Funeral Home-PO Box 236-Hugoton, KS 67951.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Baptist Church, Hugoton with Pastor Larry Bradford presiding.
Paul’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
