Joseph T. Brooks Jr., 95, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit in Satanta, Kansas. The son of Joseph and Blanche (Greenwood) Brooks, he was born on July 15, 1927, in Tabler, Oklahoma.
Joe and Virginia Helen Brooks were married on September 3, 1948, in Canon City, Colorado.
Joe worked for the State of Kansas Department of Transportation as heavy equipment operator for 22 years.
Joe survivors include brother, Richard M. Brooks and wife, Patty, Duncan, OK.; two nephews, Richard L. Brooks, Marlow, OK., Mark A. Brooks, Duncan, OK. and other relatives and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
There will be no public visitation services.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10 A.M. at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, Kansas.
Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is overseeing the arrangements.
