Martha Elizabeth Reeves, a cherished soul, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Elkhart, Kansas. Born on May 7, 1955, in the serene town of Lena, Mississippi, she was the beloved daughter of James Nolan and Martha Oleta (Gilbert) Craig.
At the age of 70, Elizabeth's life was filled with love, laughter, and countless memorable moments shared with family and friends. Her infectious spirit and compassionate heart touched many lives, and her profound legacy will be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Freddie Reeves, and wife, Nichole; her daughter, Jessica Harris; three brothers, Nolan Craig, Nathan Craig and wife, Becky, and Tommy Craig and wife, Tiffany; two sisters, Carrol Kennedy and husband, James, and Rachel Murray and husband, Daniel. She also leaves behind a loving legacy of grandchildren: Kyle and wife Natalie; Landon and wife, Shay; Tyler; Wyatt and significant other, Montana; Lilly; Bella; Aylia; Destini; Matthew; Robert; William; Shelby; Anna; and Jasper. Furthermore, she is survived by her great-grandchildren: Brycen, Bentley, Briella, Braxton, and Wrenlee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Oleta; brother, William Craig; husband, Frederick Reeves Sr.; grandson, Bubba Ferguson; granddaughter, Rebecca Dawn Harris; and son-in-law, Bob Harris.
As we celebrate Elizabeth's life, we remember the beauty of her presence and the joy she brought into our lives. She will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding star in our memories.
In honoring her legacy, there will be no service held in Kansas. Instead, a celebration of Elizabeth's life will take place in Mississippi at a later date.
