Rebecca "Becky" Lynn (Zimmerman) Tyler, cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at her home in Sublette, Kansas. Born on December 14, 1977, to Michael Eugene Zimmerman and Vicki Jo (Montgomery) Barkdoll, Becky’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and boundless compassion.
On November 3, 2001, Becky and Michael Sean Tyler joined their lives in marriage at the Methodist Church of Copeland, Kansas. Their bond was inseparable, a shining example of deep and unwavering love. From this union blossomed two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Aspen, who, alongside Sean, were the center of Becky’s heart and her greatest joys. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, embracing her siblings, their children, and the many children in her community.
Becky’s generous spirit was evident to all who knew her. She delighted in simple pleasures—cheering Sean on at team ropings, sharing moments watching Winnie the Pooh, and taking joyful drives to the zoo to admire the animals. Though her driving might bring a smile and a gentle shake of the head, it was outweighed by the warmth and care she radiated to everyone in the car. Always present, always ready to offer her time, her love, and her support, Becky touched countless lives with her big heart and genuine kindness.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Sean; daughters Aspen Tyler, and Hannah Tyler and her partner Triston White; bonus daughters Hailey Bradford and Brooke Widger, along with their daughters Ava and Alauna; and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly adored. Her devoted siblings—brother Travis Zimmerman and his wife Becca of Mobile, Alabama; sisters Melinda Zimmerman of Holcomb, Monica Griffin and her husband Dana Vogts of Sublette, Michelle Eikenberry and her husband Trenton of Garden City, and Ashley Smitherman and her husband Jared of Garden City—also carry forward her memory with love.
A memorial honoring Becky’s life has been established through the Rebecca L. Tyler Memorial Fund at Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 747, in Satanta, Kansas.
Family and friends are invited to sign the book on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 12 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, 217 Sequoyah Street, Satanta.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. at Sublette Christian Church of Sublette, followed by burial at Copeland Cemetery in Copeland, Kansas. A livestream will be available for the Celebration held at the church.
Becky’s heartfelt words, “I’M DONE,” capture the spirit of her journey — full of love, devotion, and grace. Her memory will forever remain a beacon of warmth and joy to all who were blessed to know her.
