Rodolfo Esparza

Rodolfo Esparza, of Ulysses, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Ulysses at the age of 88. He was born on June 8, 1938, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Jorge Esparza and Teresa Morales. 

Mr. Esparza will be remembered with love by those closest to him and by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life. His journey carried him from his birthplace in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Ulysses, Kansas, where he made his home and where his life came to a close.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Antonia Jimenez Fierro; his son, Guadalupe Esparza Jimenez; and his daughter, Adela Esparza-Esparza. Their memories remained an enduring part of his life and legacy.

He is survived by his daughter, Aurora Nunez of Ulysses. Also cherishing his memory are Aurora and her husband, along with their three grandchildren, and caregiver Stephanie Perez and her children, all of Ulysses. Their care, presence, and family bond were a meaningful part of his life.

Rodolfo Esparza will be remembered as a beloved father, grandfather, and family man whose life touched those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing and peace to those who hold him in their hearts.
