Therlene Kay Kindsvater, 73, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton, Kansas.
Therlene was the daughter of Therman William Thomas Johnson and Pearl Ilene (McClure) Johnson. She was born on July 11, 1950, Liberal, Kansas.
Therlene and John Kossuth Jr. were married. To this union were three sons, John Edward, Jeffery Lynn, and Jason.
Later Therlene and Loris Ray Kindsvater were married on July 8, 1989, Ulysses, Kanas. He preceded her in death.
Therlene was a member of the Rebecca Lodge of Hugoton. She enjoyed eating and playing cards at Hugoton Senior Center.
Survivors include a brother, Thomas William Therman Johnson, of Pelham AL.; Brother-in-law Ben Coker of Moore, OK.; a nephew Darrin Joe Coker, Norman, OK.; a niece April Dawn Coker, Oklahoma, OK.; April's children, Jade Bryan, Clayton Ortiz, Moore, OK., Autumn Ortiz, Oklahoma City, OK.; Darrin's children, Emily Coker, SC., Hannah Coker and Dalton Coker, Oklahoma City, OK.; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, John Edward Kossuth, Jeffery Lynn Kossuth and Jason Kossuth; a sister, Mary Pearle (Johnson) Coker.
A memorial has been established for Rebekah's Lodge. In care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 1 P.M. at Hugoton Assembly of God Church, Hugoton, Kansas. Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton.
Viewing will be Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 3 PM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
