Voncele Loree Bowen, 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, KS.
Voncele was the daughter of Gale N. and Loree M. (Swan) Carter. She was born on February 17, 1943, in Hugoton, Kansas. She was an only child.
Voncele married Richard Bowen on March 3, 1962 in Liberal, Ks. They had two sons, Philip Leon Bowen and Sheldon Bowen. They enjoyed picking up something to eat while driving around town and making enjoyable
moments amongst themselves in their car.
Voncele had one granddaughter, Misty Rose, she enjoyed spending time with her. She loved to read books in her free time.
Voncele survivors include a husband, Richard, Ulysses, KS.; son, Philip Leon Bowen and wife Pepper, Glenwood Spring, CO.; granddaughter Misty Rose Bowen and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Sheldon Bowen.
There will be no service at this time.
